PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel reformer which can determine degradation of a reforming catalyst and the necessity of regeneration treatment without providing a sensor for detecting a gas component.SOLUTION: A fuel reformer 100 comprises a second injector 112 that injects fuel for supply to a reforming catalyst 111, a temperature sensor 113 that measures the temperature of the reforming catalyst 111, and a determination unit 122 that determines the necessity of regeneration treatment to the reforming catalyst 111. The determination unit 122 performs determination on the basis of a change in temperature of the reforming catalyst 111 while water vapor reforming reaction is occurring.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
