PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more surely start a system even in a state that the system is not started for a long period of time.SOLUTION: During system-off and parking, when a low voltage system voltage Vb2 of a second power line 64 becomes below a threshold Vref1 as a voltage of a level at which electric power necessary for activating a second DC/DC converter 66 can be output from a low voltage battery 60, step-down by the second DC/DC converter 66 is started and then, step-up by a first DC/DC converter 65 is started to start an engine 22. A motor MG1 is driven as an electric power generator, and step-up by the first DC/DC converter 65 is started to charge the low voltage battery 60 with generated electric power of the motor MG1. With this, it is possible to inhibit a system from becoming unable to start due to complete discharge of the low voltage battery 60. As a result, even in a state that the system is not started for a long period of time, the system can be more surely started.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
