PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric material that is free of lead, allows little variation of piezoelectric characteristics in an operating temperature range, and has a high mechanical quality factor and good piezoelectric characteristics.SOLUTION: A piezoelectric material of a piezoelectric material part 2 comprises: a main ingredient comprising a perovskite metal oxide represented by the general formula (1) defined by BaCaBiM1)(TiZr)O, where 0.030≤x≤0.250, 0.015≤y≤0.055, 0.010≤y'≤0.050, 0.045≤z≤0.090, 1.00≤y/y'≤1.50, and 0.986≤α≤1.020, and M1 is one or more metals selected from Li, K and Na and comprises one of K and Na; and a first accessory ingredient consisting of Mn. The content of Mn is 0.04 pts.wt. or more and 0.36 pts.wt. or less in terms of metals based on 100 pts.wt. of the metal oxide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
