PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner equipped with an interleave system power source capable of efficiently supplying power under a low load.SOLUTION: A short-circuit switch 54 is so connected as to connect/open anode terminals of each diode of respective switching circuits 120, 130 by an instruction of an outdoor machine control unit 30, and the outdoor machine control unit 30 outputs a switching permission signal to a control circuit 151, to be connected to permit/inhibit the output of the switching signal of the switching circuit 130. The outdoor machine control unit 30 stores in advance, inside the outdoor machine control unit 30, a coil connection threshold in the number of rotations and half phase operation threshold higher in a number of rotations than the coil connection threshold, and when the number of motor rotations is less than the coil connection threshold, the short-circuit switch is controlled to be closed, and when the number of motor rotations is equal to or more than the half phase operation threshold, the switching signal is permitted to be output. |
