PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas chromatograph capable of preventing an incorrect value from being used as a column flow rate.SOLUTION: A gas total amount supply mode is executed by opening a total flow amount control valve 7 in a state that a purge control valve 8 and a split control valve 9 are closed. A pressure (column inlet pressure) detected by a pressure sensor 6 during the gas total amount supply mode, a setting value relating to the column having received an input from a setting value input reception processing part 102, and a flow rate (column flow rate) of a carrier gas passing through the inside of the column based on the temperature of the column are calculated. By comparing the calculated column flow rate with the actual flow rate of the carrier gas detected by a flow rate sensor 5, it can be determined whether or not the calculated column flow rate is a correct value. Hence, an incorrect value can be prevented from being used as a column flow rate. |
