PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the number of guide members guiding a recording material in branch portions branched off from a recording material transport route.SOLUTION: A sheet that is not to be processed by a first post processing device 40 or a sheet to be punched by a punching unit 41 is guided to a second sheet transport route R2 by a switching gate 70 and loaded onto a second loading unit 45. In a case of a sheet to be subjected to a center-folding/center-binding process, after a rear end of the sheet reaches a portion in which the switching gate 70 is provided, the transport of the sheet is suspended. At this time, the switching gate 70 retreats from the first sheet transport route R1. Thereafter, the switching gate 70 is driven to press the rear end of the sheet from its side to cause the sheet to enter a third sheet transport route R3. Thereafter, a positive/negative rotation roller 90A starts negative rotation to transport the sheet along the third sheet transport route R3. |
