PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-media service transmission and reception method for allowing a service provider for providing a broadcast communication fused service in a heterogeneous network environment to transmit detailed information about a service provided from the service provider itself.SOLUTION: A control message included in a payload of a transmission packet includes a control message payload configured by including at least one table among a plurality of tables including specific information relating to multi-media content, type-related information of the control message, length-related information of the control message, version-related information of the control message and control message expansion information including configuration information corresponding to at least one table constituting the control message payload, and at least one table includes a mode about a processing sequence of a plurality of tables in the case where at least one table is divided into a plurality of tables.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
