PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter that includes a blue colored layer having good heat resistance and light resistance.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a color filter that comprises a transparent substrate, and a colored layer formed on the transparent substrate and including a blue colored layer, and the blue colored layer contains a specific triphenylamine-based coloring material, a violet color material obtained by converting a rhodamine-based acid dye into a lake with metal cations, and a binder resin. The color filter is used for a liquid crystal display device including an optical alignment film formed of an alignment material obtained by subjecting a photoexcitation reactive material to photoexcitation reaction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
