PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten check display time for an imaged picture in order to make it possible to check the imaged picture and quickly start preparation for the next imaging.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus, when specific time in seconds is set as check display time for an imaged picture, starts check display of the picture after imaging the picture; when recording of the picture has finished, displays the recorded picture as check display; and when the check display time has elapsed, ends the check display. The imaging apparatus, when first setting is set as the check display time, starts the check display of the picture after imaging the picture; when lapse time from the start of the check display has been equal to or longer than predetermined time before recording of the picture finishes, ends the check display together with the finish of the picture's recording; and when the lapse time from the start of the check display is shorter than the predetermined time at the time of the picture's recording having finished, sustains the check display until the predetermined time has elapsed after the start of the check display even after the recording of the picture has finished.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
