PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle that makes a diagnosis for electrical leakage again at restart of a drive system after detection of electrical leakage and enables the restart to be controlled on the basis of the diagnosis result.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle includes: a battery for supplying electric power to a vehicle driving motor; a high voltage circuit for connecting the vehicle driving motor with the battery; an electrical leakage detector for detecting electrical leakage in the battery and the high voltage circuit; storage means for storing electrical leakage detection information on the detection of the electrical leakage; and a control section for controlling restart that is start of the vehicle driving motor after electrical leakage is detected by the electrical leakage detector. The control section includes: a diagnosis section for diagnosing again the battery and the high voltage circuit to check whether or not electrical leakage occurs by commanding the electrical leakage detector; and a restart allowing section for allowing the restart when electrical leakage is not detected by the diagnosis although the electrical leakage information is stored.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
