PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow foreign tourists to use their own credit cards in foreign countries as well without feeling stressed.SOLUTION: The device includes: card type determination means for determining the type of a credit card based on information directly acquired from the credit card; overseas-usage approving means for approving or disapproving the usage of the credit card in a foreign country different from a country that has issued the credit card and/or approving restriction of the usage based on the type of card determined by the card type determination means; and means for notifying approval or disapproval of usage of the credit card in a foreign country different from the country that has issued the credit card determined by the overseas-usage approving means and/or guiding the restriction of the usage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
