摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic wavelength band allocation method, a master node, and a slave node that can shorten a delay time in uplink communication due to buffering at the slave node and can reduce cost and power consumption by reducing a buffer size mounted on the slave node in a wavelength variable WDM/TDM-PON.SOLUTION: A dynamic wavelength band allocation method according to the invention allocates a transmission permission time of uplink signal light to a plurality of slave nodes per band allocation cycle for uplink communication, allocates an uplink communication wavelength and a downlink communication wavelength to the plurality of slave nodes per wave allocation cycle corresponding to a plurality of band allocation cycles for uplink communication and downlink communication, and notifies a wavelength change object slave node, about which an allocated uplink communication wavelength and downlink communication wavelength are changed, of a new allocation wavelength in a wavelength allocation cycle before a wavelength allocation cycle when wavelength change is performed.
