An adjustment mechanism of a U-rib welding apparatus, used for adjusting the relative positions of a welding gun of the welding apparatus and an angle joint of the U-rib, comprising a welding gun (1), a welding gun controller (2), an image capturing device (3), and a moving platform (4) for accommodating the aforementioned components; the image capturing device captures images of the welded joints during the welding process and/or after welding, and the welding gun controller is used for adjusting the position of the welding gun on the basis of the images. The present adjustment mechanism ensures that, during internal welding of the U-rib, the welding gun (1) is aligned to the angle joint, thus ensuring the welding quality of the internal weld joint such that the U-rib and a cover plate can be welded into a more stable U-rib unit, increasing the fatigue resistance of the welded U-rib unit.
