A log event processing method and device. The log event processing method comprises: monitoring a log file center, and acquiring a log event in the log file center (S1); placing the log event in a preset log event queue (S2); deduplicating a log file modification event corresponding to an identical log index and in the preset log event queue (S3); and processing the log event in the preset log event queue (S4). The log event processing method and device deduplicate the log file modification event, thus reducing a probability of reprocessing the log file, and saving a processing resource of the log file. A number of to-be-processed log events in the preset log event queue is controlled, thus reducing time consumption for processing the log event, and improving processing efficiency of the log file. |
