PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an order input terminal device which allows a user to easily confirm whether or not correspondence between code information printed on a menu sheet and menu code information uniquely specifying an item is correctly set, and allows a customer to quickly input a desired ordering item.SOLUTION: An order input terminal device comprises RAM (storage means) 103 which stores menu code information uniquely specifying an item, code information printed on a menu sheet used when ordering an item, and an item file including the menu code information and code information; a code reader 104 which reads the code information printed on the menu sheet; and a speaker 106 which notifies of the state of the menu code information stored in the RAM 103 on the basis of the code information read by the code reader 104.
