<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source unit, which never scatters fragments of a light source lamp to the outside if the light source lamp bursts and can prolong the life of the light source lamp by efficiently cooling the light source lamp, and suppress the manufacture cost by simplifying the mechanism and decreasing the number of components, and to provide an optical equipment equipped with the light source unit. <P>SOLUTION: A holding part 520 of a holding member 500 where a reflector 417 including the light source unit 416 is mounted is provided with a transparent plate 530 which covers the luminous flux projection surface side of the reflector 417, and an air intake 522A and an air outlet 521A are formed. At the holding part 520, a shutter member 600 which rotates relative to the holding part 520 is fitted through a spring. The shutter member 600 has opening parts 610A and 610B formed corresponding to the air intake 522A and air outlet 521A and rotates to open and close the air intake 610A and air outlet 521A at the same time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
