摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve the effect of an energy conservation as the whole system constituted by connecting a network apparatus such as a copier, a printer, a PC or the like to a network. <P>SOLUTION: The network system is constituted by connecting the copier 203, the printer 202 and the PCs 201, 204 and 205 to the network 400. When the copier 203 is brought to the state of the energy conservation, the copier transmits a sleeve frame to other apparatuses on the network 400 by using a broadcast and informs a bringing to the state of the energy conservation of its own copier 203. Each apparatus on the network 400 is constituted by mounting a software controlling the apparatuses brought to the state of the energy conservation, holds the informations of the apparatuses brought to the state of the energy conservation and prevents the transmission of the wasteful frame to the apparatuses. The apparatus intending to return the copier 203 from the state of the energy conservation broadcasts a starting frame to the copier 203, and returns the copier 203 while informing even other peripheral apparatuses of a return from the energy conservation of the copier 203. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
