PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rudder device of a twin-screw vessel that can maintain the performance equal to a twin variable pitch propeller vessel, and can remove defects of the twin variable pitch propeller vessel, in a vessel including two fixed pitch pusher propellers.SOLUTION: A port rudder 3p or a starboard rudder 3s for each one piece is disposed at the rear of each of two fixed pitch pusher propellers 2p, 2s. A center rudder 5 having a vertical rotation axial center 5a is disposed between the port rudder 3p and the starboard rudder 3s, and in a vertical plane containing a center line in the vessel body longitudinal direction. Also, when the port rudder is placed at the position of a rudder angle of approximately 105 degrees in the port side, and the starboard rudder is placed at the position of the rudder angle of approximately 105 degrees in the starboard side, respectively, the vertical rotation axial center of a rudder blade 6 of the center rudder is present on a line connecting each leading edge of the port rudder and the starboard rudder. |
