PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: when discharging dust by opening a lid body arranged in the lower part of a cyclone separation part, there occurs such a phenomenon that dust is caught by an inner wall and narrow passage portion of a dust collection chamber and a cyclone separation part by the action of fibrous dust compressed during suction to enlarge its volume, so that dust is hardly discharged and disposed.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner includes: an opening part which is arranged in a part of a side surface side part of a dust collection chamber and discharges dust; and a lid body part for opening/closing the opening part, and by opening the lid body part, accumulated dust is discharged from the opening part. Since an opening area larger than an opening area determined by the diameters of the cyclone separation chamber and a dust collection chamber is secured, dust is easily discharged. |
