PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily acquire information of an available communication interface from a device during retrieving the device on a network.SOLUTION: A communication device having a plurality of communication interfaces includes: determination means for determining whether one communication interface is a communication interface for a wireless LAN or a communication interface for a wired LAN in the case that the one communication interface among the plurality of communication interfaces receives a request packet requesting information of a communication interface; and response means for transmitting a response packet being a response to the request packet and including a determination result to a transmission source of the request packet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
