PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction in the efficiency of a turbocharger due to the bleeding of the supercharged air to be introduced into an actuator for driving an exhaust bypass valve to the atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:When the changeover conditions to the supercharging operation by means of both turbochargers 7, 8 are satisfied, the opening operation of an exhaust changeover valve 17 is commanded by a valve-opening command means 60, and after the exhaust changeover valve 17 has been fully opened, the duty control of a fifth solenoid valve 32 for controlling the opening of an exhaust bypass valve 41 is completed by a control-completion command means 61, so that the bleeding of the supercharged air to be introduced into an actuator 42 for driving the exhaust bypass valve 41 at the time when the two turbochargers are operated to the atmosphere can be prevented. |
