The linear module according to the invention is noteworthy in that the body (10) is produced and shaped so as to receive, at each of its ends, means (15-16) for guiding and driving a drive belt (14) associated with a sled (11) and/or providing a simple sealing function, the said means (15-16) being located directly inside the body, and in that the body of the module internally exhibits, over a part of its length between the zones for positioning the means for guiding and driving the sled, a horizontal shaped wall (10.3) delimiting the internal volume of the body of two shaped zones (A-B), the upper zone (A) allowing insertion at least of the means for moving the sled. <IMAGE>
