The recovery boat includes a conveyor belt (18) for collecting the floating debris whose recovery region (20) is arranged at the front below the control station (24) of the operator, a motor propulsion unit driven by an electricity generating unit (28) arranged at the rear of the boat and at least one waste recovery container (60, 62) placed in the central part of the boat. The boat also includes two raisable anchoring poles (104) and front panels (84) fitted with water jets intended to channel the floating waste towards the conveyor belt (18). The recovery boat is used for cleaning rivers and other stretches of water. <IMAGE>
