PURPOSE:To provide the hygienic sink which can bleach and sterilize tableware with the sodium hypochlorite formed by an electrolysis, is easily usable even at the time of bleaching and sterilizing the tableware and napkins and enables the deodorization and sterilization of the filter part of a drain port as well. CONSTITUTION:This sink 1 is provided with an electrolysis cell 7 in a bleaching and washing chamber 11 and is installed with a pair of electrodes in this electrolysis cell 7. The sink is constituted to electrolyze brine by putting proper amts. of common salt and water into the electrolysis cell 7 and impressing a voltage to the electrodes and to pour the liquid of the sodium hypochlorite formed in such a manner and city water into the bleaching and washing chamber 11. The bleaching and washing chamber 11 and a washing chamber 2 communicate with each other via a cock 22 which can be freely opened and closed by turning a cock knob 23. The bottom of the washing chamber 2 is set in the position lower than the bottom of the bleaching and washing chamber 11 and, therefore, the liquid of the sodium hypochlorite is drained through a drain port 3 when the cock 22 is opened. The deodorization and sterilization of the filter part and the left-overs are thus executed. |
