PURPOSE:To reform the failure of the contact of a heating area with a printing paper, by a method wherein a heating area necessary for printing and extended areas adjacent to both sides thereof are provided between leads and the resistance value of the extended area is made smaller than that of the heating area. CONSTITUTION:The space obtained by summing up the space A for forming a heating area 3A and the extended area 8 in which both sides thereof are extended by each space B, exists between leads 4, 5 and the current passage in the heating area 3A is made zigzag. In the extended area 8, the width M of the passage of current is the same as those of the leads 4, 5. However, because current flows zigzag between respective slits 9 in the heating area 3A, the width (m) thereof becomes narrow and resistance value is high. Therefore, the heating area 3A can be heated to a temperature necessary for printing and the extended area 8 is not heated to a temperature enough to color the printing paper. By such a constitution, the contact with the printing paper can be improved and besides wasteful power consumption can be avoided. |
