<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which does not cause color shift when a plurality of color images are superposed and transferred. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a plurality of photoreceptors 8; a plurality of driving means 22 driving and rotating the plurality of photoreceptors 8 respectively; a light emitting means 25 emitting a light beam; a light receiving means 26 receiving the light beam emitted by the light emitting means 25 and measuring light quantity; a projected light guiding member 27 guiding the light beam emitted by the light emitting means 25 and distributing and projecting it to the plurality of photoreceptors 8; and a received light guiding means 28 guiding transmitted light or reflected light on the plurality of photoreceptors 8 that is the light beam projected by the projected light guiding member 27 and leading it to the light receiving means 26. At least either the projected light guiding member 27 or the received light guiding member 28 is constituted to make at least either the light quantity or the wavelength of the light beam which can be transmitted different in every photoreceptor 8, and the shift of a phase between the plurality of photoreceptors 8 is calculated from the shift of change in every light quantity and every wavelength of the light beam detected by the light receiving means 26, so that the plurality of photoreceptors 8 are made to synchronize with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
