PURPOSE:To achieve restraint of a bad influence caused by magnetic interfer ence without decreasing printing quality extremely by a method wherein each (n) adjacent dot pins in respective arrangements of an odd pin and an even pin is selected zigzag in the odd pin and the even pin arrangements, and is driven by two divisions to perform printing. CONSTITUTION:Since a signal P1 is set to 'L' and a signal P2 is set to 'H' on a 1st path (period B) in the case of a two path printing mode, an output of an invertor 21 becomes 'L' and outputs of OR gates 22, 23 become respectively 'H' and 'L'. Consequently, AND gates 11, 13, 16, 18...34 open, and dot data inputted to those AND gates are supplied as they are to a driving circuit 3 as D1, D3, D6...D24 signals. Then, since both signals P1, P2 are set to 'L' on a second path (period C), the output of the invertor 21 becomes 'H', and the OR gates 22, 23 become respectively 'L' and 'H'. Consequently, AND gates 12, 14, 15, 17... open, and dot data inputted to those AND gates are supplied as they are to the driving circuit 3 as D2, D4, D5, D7.... |
