PURPOSE:To prevent generation of unevenness in a picture image by using a heat developable photosensitive material contg. a paper base provided with a specified performance, then executing removal of water contained in the paper base prior to the heat development. CONSTITUTION:When a picture image is formed by executing heat development of a heat developable photosensitive material having a photosensitive layer contg. photosensitive components on a paper base at the same time or after executing image exposure, a paper base having a low water absorptive surface being <=10g/m<2> cup water absorption regulated by JIS-P-8140 on the photosensitive layer side is used. Moreover, the heat development is executed after the removal of water in the paper base, then a picture image is formed. By this constitution, generation of unevenness in a picture image is inhibited and superior picture images are obtd. stably. |
