PURPOSE: To reduce the inner pressure in a mold by the pressure control which cannot be executed only by a toggle mechanism by setting the mechanism to a fully extended state after the injecting of melted resin in a cavity is completed, and conducting the finally mold clamping compression. CONSTITUTION: The hydraulic pressure of the piston rod side chamber 14b of a low pressure mold clamping cylinder 13 is altered from PO to P corresponding to the injection filling, and lower than the melted resin injection pressure in the state of P<(Ac/A1)/RR (where Ac is the projected area of a cavity 5, PR is the resin pressure injection-filled in the cavity 5, and Al is the area of the side of the die bar of a cylinder 13). A piston 14 is moved to the left byΔX, both the molds 4a, 4b are simultaneously opened, and the pressure in the mold of the cavity 5 is lowered to be balanced. The hydraulic pressure of the piston head 15 side of the mold clamping cylinder is increased, a cross head 7 is advanced, a toggle mechanism 6 is extended, the hydraulic pressure of a piston rod side chamber 14b is extracted, and the piston 14 is moved in the advancing limit direction in the cylinder 13. The mechanism 6 is extended to the fully extended state to complete the mold clamping compressing operation.
