A writing implement having a posture correction function is provided to help a user write down while the user always maintaining a proper writing posture, and thus to correct a writing posture and to form good handwriting. A writing implement(50) having a posture correction function includes: a correction body(52) which consists of an upper correction body(53) and a lower correction body(54); a circuit board(58) which is installed inside the upper correction body and has a speaker and a luminescent diode so as to inform a user of a proper writing posture; a grasp groove(59) which is formed on the lower correction body and comprises grooves for the thumb, the index finger, and the middle finger; an upper groove(66) which is formed on the upper correction body to come in contact with the upper portion of the index finger; touch sensors(71) which are provided in all grooves to see if all fingers hold the writing implement properly; and a slope sensor(72) which is provided in the upper correction body to see if the writing implement has a proper gradient of 40-45 degree. |
