PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the dispersibility of carbon black even when the amt. of the carbon black added is increased and to obtain an electrophotographic toner having high hiding power without increasing the number of processes by incorporating plural kinds of carbon blacks different from each other in characteristics. SOLUTION: This electrophotographic toner contains a resin binder and two or more kinds of carbon blacks different from each other in characteristics. The carbon blacks are compensated with each other and only the merits of the carbon blacks can be utilized. The merits are preferably hiding power and dispersibility. Carbon black having high dispersibility is added to carbon black having inferior dispersibility and high hiding power and the carbon black having high hiding power is dispersed so that the high hiding power can be maintained. The DBP(dibutyl phthalate) oil absorption of the 1st carbon black is preferably larger than that of the 2nd carbon black.
