A blow molding machine which comprises a clamping device (1) including a body (2), tie bars (3, 3) horizontally supported on the body (2) to be longitudinally movable, a pair of platens (4, 6) supported on the tie bars (3, 3), and split mold dies (7, 8) provided on the side where the pair of platens (4, 6) face each other, and a driving device (9) for driving a blow pin (93) from below the split mold dies (7, 8). The driving device (9) is supported by the pair of platens (4, 6) or the tie bars (3, 3).
