PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water leakage preventing device for a vehicle to further reliably prevent entrance of water to an internal part of a vehicle. SOLUTION: A water leakage preventing device is to prevent entrance of water to an internal part of a vehicle through a gap S formed between a door member 2 and a body member 3. A weather strip 4 is mounted on the door member 2 side and a seal part 4b deformed resultantly from contact with a contact part 3a of the body member 3 is formed at the weather strip 4. A protrusion part 3b or a recessed part is formed in a position adjacent to the gap S side of the contact part 3a and in the body member 3.
