<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developer having excellent fixing property and offset resistance in a heat roll fixing method, showing stable electrification behavior in continuous printing and having excellent durability with which good high-quality images can be obtd. SOLUTION: This electrostatic charge image developer consists of a toner containing a polyester resin as a binder resin. The polyester resin is prepared by polymerizing (1) one or more kinds of divalent to tetravalent epoxy compds., (2) polybasic acid compds. selected from divalent or higher valence polybasic acids and/or anhydrides and/or their lower alkylesters, and (3) divalent or higher valence alcohols. By this method, good fixing characteristics and offset resistance in a wider temp. range can be obtd. compared to a polyester resin produced by crosslinking epoxy compds. after the polyester main chains are synthesized, or compared to a polyester resin polymerized using any epoxy compds.</p> |
