PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod provided with a measure capable of readily carrying out a measuring operation without making an angler forget to carry a measure. SOLUTION: The surface of the rod body 2 of fishing rod 1 is provided with a scale 3 for measuring a fish that has been caught in the lengthwise direction of the rod body 2 of fishing rod. The size of a fish that has been caught can be measured by the scale 3. Since the scale 3 is integrated with the fishing rod 1, an angler never forgets to carry a measure. Since the fishing rod 1 itself is provided with the measure, a complicated operation for searching a measure and using it is not required. Consequently, the operation for measuring the size of a fish is facilitated.
