PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Welsh onion harvester which can longitudinally move a nipping and carrying belt in interlock with a dipping and carrying conveyer device, when the dipping and carrying conveyer device is vertically rotated, and can adjust the support height of a nipping and carrying belt. SOLUTION: This Welsh onion harvester has a digging and carrying conveyer device 8 which is disposed behind a digging blade 6 and is used for loading and carrying the root portions of the dug Welsh onions dug with the digging blade in a vertical posture, and a nipping and carrying belt 9 which is placed above the digging and carrying conveyer device 8 and is used for nipping and carrying the foliage portions of the Welsh onions dug from the field in the vertical posture, on a self-propelled frame. Therein, the base portion of a frame for supporting the digging and carrying conveyer device 8 is vertically rotatably and pivotally supported, and the nipping and carrying belt 9 is supported on the tip portions of link arms 12 whose base portions are pivotally supported on brackets 8b disposed on the base portion of the digging and carrying conveyer device 8, and the nipping and carrying belt 9 is longitudinally moved in interlock with the vertical rotation of the digging and carrying conveyer device 8. The support height of the nipping and carrying belt 9 is adjusted by disposing long holes 12a between the tip portions of the link arms 12 and the nipping and carrying belt 9 and then adjusting the support positions of the link arms 12 in the long holes 12a.
