PURPOSE: A method for doing electronic commerce using a mobile communication terminal is provided to use a bar code reader of the terminal to input purchasing information, so as to do the electronic commerce by the mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: If a user scans a bar code of a product and presses an input button(404), a mobile communication terminal performs a user identifying procedure(406). If the user is capable of doing electronic commerce(408), the terminal delivers a signal to a mobile telephone switching office connected with the internet, and connects with a web site(412). If identifying information of the user is not correct, the terminal returns to an initial screen(410), and completes the whole process(420). If the information is correct, information read by a bar code reader is displayed on a liquid crystal display(LCD) of the terminal(414). The terminal confirms information on purchased products(416). If amounts of the products and a paying method are inputted(418), the terminal returns to the initial screen(410) to complete the whole process(420).
