PURPOSE: A wire connector is provided to make a person having no knowledge about electricity be able to use the connector easily and conveniently by connecting a wire without removing the coating of the wire. CONSTITUTION: The wire connector comprises: an upper body(10) having a wire incision part at its bottom for corresponding to a lead in a tape type wire; a lower body(60) having a through hole(40) for passing through the wire incision part and holding the tape type wire on its bottom; and a sliding unit for sliding the upper body to the lower body to incise a coating of the tape type wire with the wire incision part and to connect it to the lead. The sliding unit consists of a sliding projection(30) formed on the upper body or the lower body and a sliding channel(50) formed on the lower body or the upper body correspondingly to the sliding projection. The wire incision part is formed in a slant position with a predetermined angle in an advancing direction of the upper body. The wire connector further comprises a transducer or an adaptor connected to the wire incision part and provided inside of the upper body.
