PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigeration system in which the capacity is prevented from lowering while suppressing temperature rise in the compartment. SOLUTION: The refrigeration system comprises a freezing section 11, a control section 20, and means 21 for detecting the operating time rate. The freezing section 11 has means 12 for freezing a freezing compartment 10. The operating time rate detecting means 21 detects the operating time rate W of the freezing means 12. The control section 20 controls the freezing section 11 and when the operating time rate W exceeds 1.1 times of a reference operating time rate W0 , defrosting is performed by stopping operation of the freezing means 12.
