PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate mounting work, to improve engagement strength and to reduce cost. SOLUTION: This plug member is constituted of a flange part 5 to make contact with a wall member 2 and an insertion member 10 continuously provided on the flange part 5 and having an engagement projection 18 to be inserted in a wall insertion hole 7 of the wall member 2 and to be projected in the radial direction on an outer periphery and mounts a mounting part of an article 3 to mount on the wall member 2 by a screw member 4. The insertion member 10 is constituted of a fixed side member 11 integrated with the flange part 5 and a moving side member 14 having an engagement projection 18 to move to the side of the flange part 5 while increasing an outside diameter larger when the screw member 4 is screwed on it, the moving side member 14 has a pair of movable leg parts 17 to face against each other head ends of which are free ends, an engagement recessed part 20 is provided on one of facing surfaces of each of the movable leg parts 17 and an engagement part 21 is provided on the other.
