PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spraying apparatus for generating mixture of liquid and gas, heightening the spraying efficiency of the spraying apparatus. SOLUTION: This invention relates to a spraying apparatus for generating mixture 4 of liquid and gas. The generated mixture 4 is preferably guided into a nozzle device 3 for compression, and in the nozzle device, most part of kinetic energy of the mixture 4 is converted to compression energy by the pressure rise of the gas. The spraying apparatus 2 includes: a substantially central air supply pipe 16 and a nozzle chamber 18 for liquid surrounding the pipe 16. A means 17 for generating a swirl liquid current in the nozzle chamber 18 is disposed in the spraying apparatus, and the swirl liquid current flows out through a nozzle opening 19 surrounding the pipe 16.
