PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device capable of cutting sheets with small force, reducing power consumption, miniaturizing the device and obtaining cut faces of high quality even in the curled and wrinkled state of a sheet bundle. SOLUTION: In this sheet processing device having a cutting means for cutting one end of the sheet bundle, as the typical constitution of the sheet processing device, the cutting means has a bundle pressing means comprising a bundle pressing plate 506 for pressing the vicinity of the cut faces of the sheet bundle P3, and a bundle pressing plate 505 for pressing almost the center part of the sheet bundle.
