PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platform and a method for processing a liquid having wettability even if the liquid may exist in only a quantity of microliter range. SOLUTION: The microstructured platform has a hollow chamber, a capillary for transferring the liquid with a capillary force, a fluid switch, a quantity adjusting device for the liquid, a separating device for separating a liquid portion stream from a dispersion, and an area for holding a limited liquid quantity.
