PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable selecting of optimum communications means, by displaying presence information of a plurality of communications means available to a call-receiving side user with priority, on a communications terminal of a call originating side user. SOLUTION: In a call-terminating side communications terminal 4, corresponding to a second telephone number of the call receiving side user, priority is set to each of the plurality of communications means concerning the second telephone number, corresponding to a plurality of states of the call-terminating side user including presence, absence and calling. By doing this, in performing communication between the call originating user specified by the first telephone number and the call-terminating side user specified by the second telephone number, the presence information of the plurality of communications means concerning the second telephone number is displayed with priority on the call-originating side communications terminal 3, corresponding to the first telephone number of the call-originating side user, thereby enabling the call-originating side user to select the optimum communications means.
