The device for a system to control the adjustment of the position of at least one component of a seat in especially an aircraft has actuators which are controllable by a control unit in conformance with the operating of operating elements by the seat's occupant. The device has at least one sensing element (22-29) for the contact-less determining of the distance between the seat component and an obstacle opposing the adjustment of the position of the seat component. The sensing element is connected to the control unit. An independent claim is included for a system for the controlling of the adjustment of the position of at least one seat component, such as a headrest (4), seat back (6), seat section (8), leg support (10), or footrest (12), which includes the aforesaid device. |
