摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector in which a low insertion loss and a high reflection attenuation value are provided, the eccentricity of the central axis of parallel light emitted from a lens with respect to the central axis of the lens is eliminated, a large scaled manufacturing apparatus is unnecessary, the end of an optical fiber is easily positioned at the focal point of an optical system. SOLUTION: In the optical fiber connector 1, a transparent solid block 40 having a refractive index which is substantially equal to that of the lens 20 and an optical fiber 31 is arranged between the lens 20 and a ferrule 30 so as to be made contact to the lens 20, the ferrule 30 and the optical fiber 31. The thickness t in the light-passing direction of the solid block 40 is equal to the distance from the end face of the lens to the focal point which is decided by the diameter and the refractive index of the lens 20 and the refractive index of the solid block 40.
