PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the impact caused by a member moved by a solenoid.

SOLUTION: This recording medium stacker is provided with a medium storage part (7) loading thereon a recording medium (S) with image recorded thereon, contacting/separating members (101-105) movable between a contact position brought into contact with the recording medium (S) loaded on the medium storage part (7) and a separation position separated from the recording medium (S), the contacting/separating member moving solenoid (106b) moving the contacting/separating members (101-105) between the separation position and the contact position, and a solenoid control means moving the contacting/separating members (101-105) to the contact position by controlling the contacting/separating member moving solenoid (106b) to repeat a plurality of times of on-off action of the contacting/separating member moving solenoid (106b) while the contacting/separating members (101-105) move from the separation position to the contact position.
