<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit/receive adequate communication information between probes arranged across different protocols. <P>SOLUTION: A probe 10a of a packet measuring system 1 embeds communication information (transmission time and sequence number in an example of Fig.1) used for a transmission quality measurement in a payload portion of an RTP packet which is an examination packet, and transmits the RTP packet to an opposed probe 10b through an SBC 20. The SBC 20 receives the RTP packet transmitted by the probe 10a, and transmits the packet to the probe 10b after rewriting an RTP header. Then, the probe 10b receives the RTP packet transmitted by the probe 10a, and extracts the communication information from the payload portion of the examination packet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
