#CMT# #/CMT# To determine the movement characteristics of a joint, for a medical diagnosis, markers are applied to the skin on both sides of the joint. The marks on one side are used to provide an average configuration to determine time-related deviations from the average as a weighted orthogonal distance regression. A linear compensation problem is solved by information using the weighted orthogonal distance regression. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# The technique is for medical diagnosis of conditions in the joint e.g. osteoporosis and ligament damage. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# For analysis of the joint movement further information is taken into account e.g. skin marker shift, skin elasticity and the joint parameters of the joint center or axes. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawings show markers on a moving patient and the pattern of skin markers. |
