The object of the invention solves the problem of improving the functional values of vehicle seat armrests, especially those used in cars. The armrest according to the invention includes a compartment (2) for storing small objects that is closed with a cover, and which has a grip (3) in its front part. The grip (3) has the form of a spatial element with a convave upper surface provided with two sets of parallel slots: a set of slots for coins (4) and a set of slots for flat objects (5), such as a telephone card, a parking card or a credit card, that is situated perpendicularly to the set of slots for coins (4). On closing the cover of the compartment (2), the objects stored in the grip and the other ones in the compartment (2) are immobilised by pressing with a flexible element (6) connected with the cover. |
